Fear is not a failure of confidence or strength.


It is a protective response that is sometimes needed, and healthy, but can also go into overdrive.

Over time, fear can become automatic, appearing even when there is no real danger.

Your mind may understand this logically, yet your body reacts anyway. You can’t logic your way out of the feelings.

This is because it doesn’t reside in your logical mind, it resides in the subconscious.

All fear is really the fear of losing control.

It may begin fearing something specific, like fear of flying, or fear of public speaking, but over time, fear of feeling the fear is what results.

This leaves you fearing the anticipation of the feeling and causes you to avoid what you know is safe.

It impacts your life as it causes you to plan around your fears rather than living life fully.
